The Lowland Reckoning
The dominant calendar of the western lowlands, established by the survivors of the Hollowing and kept by the moot-keepers of the Allmoot. Year 0 AH is the day of the Hollowing itself; pre-Hollowing dates are recorded as BH (Before the Hollowing) when they’re known at all — most of that history is fragments.
The year is divided into twelve months of thirty days each, with seasons starting on the first day of Mireholt (spring), Sunhigh (summer), Foxleaf (autumn), and Greycoat (winter). The new year begins at Yulegate, the threshold month — the gate through which the dying year is crossed.
